If we can fully customize the display page then it will look more professional to our clients.
- Enable CNAME (custom domain) for each link
- Add our company logo/background/colors
- Remove headers/footers/links to Columns.ai

Now, we have added two options in your team settings to customize visual sharing page :
- You can upload your team logo, this logo will become default logo for all visual stories created in your team workspace.
- You can choose hide/show site links, once the flag is on, all site links on the header will not be displayed, pretty much just the logo itself.

+1 | Being able to customize pages/chart with own domain / branding, alot of times we embed charts/pages as part of own platforms
- Natively have a cname/custom domain overwrite - so it makes it easier for users to setup or even share when we copy ( it shows our domain ) with the shared links.
- Seems like for public users to view pages, they will need to sign up for a collumns.ai account. Can we have the possibility to allow users to view a page without the need to sign up for a columns account?

By the way, we have added the support for you to upload your LOGO in your preferences on the profile page. Once you uploaded your LOGO, it will automatically show up on every new visual graph you make.
Let me know if this works well for you.

Hi @Calvin, if you set the CNAME in your DNS provider, such as pointing columns.mydomain.com to columns.ai, it should work. The only thing we need to do at our side is just whitelist this domain "columns.mydomain.com" so that it can access our backend API.
If you decide to do this, just sent the full domain name to support@columns.ai and we will whitelist it for you.
Let me know if you have other questions, happy to assist as much as I can.

Hi Calvin, thanks for this feature request.
Current Columns support customization of setting your default font, palette and colors for the graph, these settings can be found in your profile/preference section.
I plan to support user uploaded LOGO in preference section too, so if LOGO exists, we will use it for public page branding.
Similarly, we will support the settings to allow you remove headers/footers.
We will get this done soon since it's not a big problem, and update back. Thanks again for this request.

Columns: great thanks! How about CNAME?
Columns
Calvin: So far, we haven't processed any CNAME request yet. But as long as it's doable, we don't mind to support it.
Also, if I understand correctly usually CNAME is asking the domain owner to set up a sub-domain that points to another domain. Say if you own "calvin.sue", we can add a CNAME alias like calvin.columns.ai which points to calvin.sue, and we can do that.
Is this the CNAME scenario you're looking for, or something different?

Columns: Thanks so much for looking into our feature requests! Having a Columns.ai subdomain is one option, but I was thinking for a custom domain like charts.mydomain.com then customers/clients, along with our logo can see our branding.

Calvin: Since for missing the conversation here. Since you want to set up a sub domain at your end, you can go ahead to add it in your DNS management tool. You could just add a new CNAME record alias to columns.ai, if that is not allowed, you can use A record instead, we can give your our static IP for that.
Once you have set it up, just simply send us an email request, we will put the new domain in the whitelist, then it should be all set.
